It’s a new year with a brand new start for Money for College Project. I hope many of you were able to read my recent post on my change in focus and mission. There are still many changes that are being worked through, but I promise that they will all be much more beneficial to you. I’m also not one to make New Year’s Resolutions, but it seems that everyone around me in my family does. In fact, my sister is so adamant about her resolutions that I believe her tactic for sticking to them is public accountability. I suppose it works for her.
I was thinking about this concept of public accountability and realized that this is exactly what I am doing on this blog. I doubt many of you know me personally, outside of this blog of course, but we have all formed an online community and we do hold each other accountable for our actions. With our new journey of saving for our child’s future, I want to even more accountable with you. I want to share more details of our financial progress towards our savings goals, and I want you to be able to learn from my mistakes. So I suppose, I did make a New Year’s Resolution after all.
Here are some good reads for your edification!
